Rapra Technology has helped in developing a range of test methods and results for innovative materials used for packaging absorbents, bio-degradable, microwaveable and ovenable materials.

Rapra Technology, Europe's leading independent plastics and rubber research organisation, has been working with Telford, UK-based Sirane assisted by support from the Wolverhampton, UK-based Polymer Cluster. Sirane manufactures a range of packaging and other products including specialised absorbents, bio-degradable, microwaveable and ovenable materials and protective materials for a number of food and other applications. Rapra's involvement included developing a range of test methods and results for the innovative materials used by Sirane in developing its packaging solutions for clients worldwide.
